We all know the kind, annoying boy racers who drive like complete twats up and down our roads, with no sympathy for our ear drums or little old ladies who may be crossing. The kind who never seem to get caught doing it and the kind you just want to shoot with a rifle. While unfortunately that is not an option due to legal reasons, it seems one neighbourhood chose another way to teach their local rude boy racer a lesson.
They stole his car and put it in a really big tree. Genius.
Locals were so fed up with Zbigniew Filo’s erratic driving; they somehow stuck his white Ford Escort 20 feet up a willow tree, in Lubczyna, Poland.
When Filo, 24, finally found his car, he phoned the police to explain what had happened. Unsympathetic to the joyrider’s misfortune, they simply told him to take it down.
While the neighbours are all remaining extremely secretive about the whole debacle, one villager admitted a crane had been borrowed overnight.
Another villager said: “Whoever, or whatever it was, it’s probably a good thing as he was a dangerous driver and could have killed someone.
“Perhaps he’ll think twice about his hair-raising driving and about getting a licence or who knows where his next car might end up?”
Filo has since promised to be a better driver in future, but did think the prank was a bit harsh. We didn’t.
