TWISTEDSEX abuse victim Derek Mulligan spoke out this week as to why his attacker Michael Ferry was allowed to continue working as a school caretaker at Ard Scoil Mhuire in Gweedore, County Donegal in 2002 after an earlier conviction.

Mr. Mulligan described how years of abuse had ruined his life commenting, “How can someone so sick prey, not even on people his own age but children – the most vulnerable of all – just for his own kicks and pleasures?” he asked. Ferry, who drove to work in an ice cream van and mopped the halls dressed as a clown was said to be very remorseful and even attempted a magic trick in court, but to no avail. He was jailed for 14 years.
