We’re well aware that addictions can be expensive, but we can’t imagine forking out a grand each month on a new sofa because of it. Mum of five, Adele Edwards of Florida has a rather unusual habit of snacking on sofa cushions. She apparently suffers from the disorder Pica, which makes people eat seemingly inedible objects. Of course she is aware that eating the foam could kill her, but she just really likes it, and has consumed, during the course of her lifetime, eight settees and five chairs.
So DFS and Ikea beware if you see this woman coming. Bloody weirdo.
