Corpse Bride: Live Action Remake? If you liked Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, then you will love this! A man has married his dead girlfriend in a wedding-come-funeral ceremony, and posted a video of the ceremony on YouTube.

Thai Film Producer Chadil Deffy wore a top hat and black tuxedo, and then proceeded to place a wedding ring on his dead girlfriend Sarinya Kamsook’s finger whilst in her coffin. The YouTube video has already gone past 50,000 hits on its first day.

Deffy’s close friend, Onsiri Pravattiyagul, explained Deffy’s reasons for the ceremony in his column “The ‘wedding’ was his attempt to right a wrong, however belated the gesture might have been. As expected, the initial public reaction was an outpouring of sympathy for the ‘groom’ and a wave of sentimental remarks. The romantically inclined were moved by this expression of ‘true love,’ however unconventional.” It’s not the wedding which is on most people’s minds, it’s the wedding night I’m sure most people are disturbingly worried about!

Pravattiyagul also said that Deffy was heartbroken when Sarinya passed away in January after 10 years of being together, and after talking about marriage he decided to do the honourable thing and marry her sweet, loving dead corpse.

Tim Burton, if you are reading, I’d sue Chadil Deffy for copyright! He has no right to post a video of himself as Johnny Depp online. But on the other hand, he was a better actor.
