Rupert Murdoch Jonnie May-Bowles Jonnie Marbles House of Commons Hearing Phone Hacking Scandal

Jonnie Marbles – or as we like to call him, the funny fucker who threw a shaving cream pie at Rupert Murdoch whilst he gave evidence at the House of Commons Culture, Media and Sport Committee about the recent phone hacking scandal, has been jailed for six weeks. District judge Daphne Wickham said May-Bowles (Marbles) would serve at least three weeks in prison after disrupting proceedings of the inquiry last month. Exclaiming, “This is a parliamentary process, which as you know conducts itself with dignity and in a civilised fashion.” Continuing, “Everybody else in the room expected that, with one exception – you.”
The judge said her sentence took into account the fear of injury that Mr Murdoch would have felt given that he was unaware the object was a shaving foam pie at the time of the attack. Sorry, what kind of injury could a real life trifle have sustained to ones face – apart from making his face taste particularly sweet. Real life comedic genius’ such as Jonnie should be commended for making life just that bit more funny.
