Are any of you planning a trip to Amsterdam soon? If the answer to that is yes, keep an eye out for the Fokkens – the 69-year-old twin Dutch prostitutes.
These two ladies are obviously firm believers of the idea that age is but a number, and so much so, they’ve had a documentary made about them, which has been brilliantly titled, ‘Meet The Fokkens.’ If you’re wondering, that is actually their real last name. You couldn’t make this shit up.
Martine and Louise are based in the red light district of Amsterdam, and while one sister gave up working two years ago, the other still continues to advertise herself in the window.
The ‘retired’ sister claimed: “She needs the money. You can’t live off a state pension.”
These two are familiar faces in the area and have been in the business for over 40 years. Over that time they have ran their own brothel and even set up a trade union for prostitutes.
