An elephant who escaped from a circus caused havoc as he stormed through an Irish town.
The elephant, called Baby, bolted from the circus where he was meant to be having a bath.
A coffee shop owner and his customers were, unsurprisingly, alarmed to see the creature run past the store in Blackpool, County Cork, with his owners chasing behind him.
The 40-year-old elephant was recorded from a nearby office as his owners finally managed to catch up.
Nobody was injured, but Costa Coffee manager Egle Vilmaite said: “Everything took probably three to five minutes, you know, but it was really intense.”
He claimed that the elephant ‘wasn’t happy’, as it ran through southern Ireland in an attempt to escape his owners.
