Woman Ripped-off in Crack Deal Calls PoliceAllegedly ripped off by her drug dealer, a Springfield (yep, that’s right) woman decided to do something about it: she called the police. Doh!!

According to reports, police were called to the woman’s Springfield apartment at around 5:30 a.m., after she said she had paid $40 for crack cocaine but got sugar instead.

She asked officers to get her money back and arrest the drug dealer for stealing.

Springfield police spokesman Matt Brown said officers found drug paraphernalia on the woman, and he expected her to be cited.

Brown said officers did go to the home of the person the woman accused, but a man and a woman at the location denied the claim.

Reportedly, city Prosecutors have not yet made a decision on whether to charge the woman in court or, alternatively, to submit the story to Matt Groening as an idea for Cletus The Slack Jawed Yokel’s next exploit. We know which we’d prefer!
