Vogue Goes Gaga?
Word on the street is that Lady Gaga will be appearing on the March 2011 cover of American Vogue. Rumour has it famed photographer Mario Testino is shooting the cover “overseas later this month”.
Renowned for her bold and kooky fashion statements (including that infamous meat dress) the singer has had a turbulent relationship with Vogue in the past. Gaga was invited to perform at Anna Wintour’s annual Met Ball, yet missed the red carpet and spent 45 minutes in her dressing room. Wintour complained on national television regarding the situation. When Gaga did make the stage, she had been told by Wintour not to swear, Gaga’s reply? “I will do my fucking best”.
Perhaps the fashionable duo have kissed or made up, either way this is set to be one of the most talked about covers of the year, especially following the singer’s Vogue Hommes Japan covers, one where she dressed as a man, the other draped in yet more raw meat.
Come on Gaga and Anna, show us your fucking best then!
Westlife say no to McFadden return.
Irish boy-band Westlife have stated that they won’t do a Take That and invite old memeber Brian McFadden back to the group.
The band took part in a triple boy band bonanza on Sunday’s X Factor show, which featured performances from previous contestants JLS and the newly reformed Take That. Westlife performed their new single ‘Safe’ on the results show, which also showcased Take That perform their new track ‘The Flood’ with Robbie Williams, their first performance in fifteen years!
Shane Filan from the Irish heartthrob quartet stated that after “seeing Take That with Robbie again has not encouraged us to get Brian back. If he did come back, we’d be thinking, ‘Is he happy with what we are doing now?'”
Mark Feehily also added: “We are Take That fans so are excited about it happening and it also ups the ante for us. When there is no competition, you can get a bit lazy so it’s good to have another band back.”
Westlife release their new track ‘Safe’ in a spectacular battle of the boys, with JLS and Take That all promoting and releasing their singles this week, all vying for the top spot! Who said boys never caused drama?
Westlife ‘Safe’, JLS ‘Love You More’ and Take That ‘The Flood’ singles are all available now along with Take That’s new album ‘Progress’.
