In possibly the biggest overreaction since the last time Cristiano Ronaldo made slight contact with a defender in the penalty area, a woman in the US leapt from a moving car and caused an accident after she spotted a spider on her shoulder.
Mother-of-the-year contender Angela Kipp, 35, panicked when she saw the offending arachnid as she was backing out of her Syracuse, Indiana, driveway and immediately jumped from the vehicle.
Unfortunately, her 9-year-old son was still in car, and the traumatised tyke tried desperately to hit the brake pedal as he slowly reversed into traffic. By a stroke of bad luck, he accidentally hit the gas pedal and the car charged into a passing school bus, which luckily had no children on board. The pint-sized driver escaped with minor head injuries. The medical status of the spider is unknown.
