Well nearly. Nottinghamshire man Matthew Brealy is lucky to be alive after a pigeon knocked him unconscious whilst riding at 50 mph on his motorbike. He then fell onto the throttle and the bike accelerated to 140mph until it hit an oak tree and he came flying off. Commenting on the incident Brealy said, “My visor was left with a hole in it and I was covered in pigeon blood and feathers. There’s no doubt it was a bizarre, freak accident and I am aware that I am very lucky to be alive.” The now deceased pigeon was said to have been released on bail at the time of the incident and was facing time in the slammer for public defecation and indecent exposure offences.
