Colonel-mustard-in-the-drawingIt really makes you feel in safe hands when you read about oversights by the police doesn’t it? It recently emerged that when Antoine Denis body was found in January of this year that his death was not treated as suspicious by the police, but alas when the undertakers came to remove the body they found a 12cm knife lodged in the man’s back. Apparently Mr. Denis had been found slumped on his back in the bedroom of his flat, and the police say they failed to notice the knife, as it was dark. Now I don’t know about you, but if I was investigating a death I’d most likely turn the light on in a room. We think Kent police have some explaining to do! Maybe they should start playing Cludoe on their days off to get a bit of mystery solving practice in.
