Leona Lewis’ biggest seller ‘Bleeding Love’ has now surpassed a million copies in the UK making her the 14th female singer to have ever of done this.
The song crossed the million mark last week following a performance from X Factor favourite Matt Cardle. Music Week reported that the song song had sold 1,117 copies following the performance, bring the total UK sales to 1,000,534. This makes Lewis the 103rd single to ever have sold past a million copies.
The single was originally released 3 years ago, along with her debut album ‘Spirit’ which has sold over 3 million copies in the UK. Leona’s follow up album ‘Echo’ did not quite match the sales of it’s predecessor, with reports of Leona hitting the studio to record a new “edgy” album.
