IF there’s one thing Nigerians love, it’s their email accounts.
A simple look at the BBM spam box reveals the whole country is choc full of wealthy businessmen and dethroned princes who spend all day emailing people asking for help in shifting their $12,000,000 to a different account.
And it seems when they’re not trying to fleece people out of money, their sending death threats. Nice.
Midfielder Sani Kaita has received no less than 1,000 threats to his account following his red card in a 2-1 defeat to Greece.
Nigeria spokesman Peterside Idah said: “We are taking these threats very seriously.We’ve spoken to the Nigerian government and written to FIFA.”
