Steve jobs quits appleThe Chief Executive and co-founder of leading technology Apple, Steve Jobs, has handed in his resignation and will be replaced by Tim Cook (Do you think he’s going to resign from cooking now then?). Having previously undergone a live transplant due to pancreatic cancer, Steve Jobs released a statement to the board of Apple saying, “I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s chief executive, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come. I hereby resign as chief executive of Apple. I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.” Well we’re pretty sure he’s made a fricking fortune as we sit here typing this on our macs, so Steve, kick back, relax and feel better, you’ve earned it!
