A family rabbits were saved and unharmed after nearly being killed by a digger. Not very Easter-y now is it, where would our eggs have come from?
Huddled together in a hole where construction workers where digging was how the rabbits had survived. The diggers had spotted them just before the claw of the machine could harm them and all work stopped to aid there rescue.
Now living in Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary the rabbits are thriving, and will be released back into the wild before long. Loads of children are currently visiting them.
What an act of humanity to help save Easter, it would be heart breaking if the Easter bunny disappeared, now we know he/she is in a shed, safe in Warwickshire living on dandelions.
