Jose Mourinho has been missed in The Premiership. His wit, his passion, his wild arrogance and suave elegance. Not to mention his run-ins with countless officials, managers and players alike. Brilliant entertainment value. So we were excited to hear that the chances of Mr Mourinho returning to England in the next few years are getting more and more likely.

According to (trustworthy and respected source) The Sunday Mirror, Mourinho has demanded a break clause in his four-year contract with Spanish giants Real Madrid, theoretically allowing him to leave on a free contract at the end of any year he chooses between now and 2014.

Often hinting of a possible return to Blighty, particularly Man United, this recent revelation has put Jose top of the pecking order for a replacement for good old Fergie when he finally decides to hang up his boots.
And let’s face it, the guy needs to go. He’s won more trophies than racehorse legend Red Rum, and chewed through enough gum to stick together and block the BP Oil leak. It’s time to let go Fergie, take up a spot of golf and grow a vegetable patch and do us all a favour.
