Parrot Speaks Urdu and English Bradford

Mittu the African Grey from Bradford harbours much sought after bilingual skills as he can squawk in both Urdu and English. Owner Mr. Ahmed commented saying, “He says a few words including ‘asalaam alaykum’, ‘bismillah’, which means ‘in the name of Allah’ and ‘shabaash’ – which means ‘well done’.” Apparently the parrot can also say, “Who’s a pretty boy” and can mimic a dog’s bark as well as the fridge door alarm. Apparently he’s quite the house guest impresser, if they teach him both Spanish, French and Mandarin then perhaps Mr. Ahmed can retire and live off the parrot’s salary as a high class translator, or maybe even the most incognito spy known to man.
