Jamie Ellis stabbed the mother of two more than 30 times after she complained that he hadn’t made any garlic bread for dinner. He later told police he felt their relationship was coming to an end and added: ‘I love her that much I can’t possibly imagine her with any-one else and I just thought, f*** it.’ An overdose of Peter Kay and American Psycho are said to have lead to the killing.
