Ok, well they’re calling it more of a mouse. Jamie Oliver has been caught in a hygiene storm after a customer spotted a mouse running across their table whilst dining at Jamie’s Italian in Nottingham. A spokesperson for Jamie Oliver said, “There are a number of caves and tunnels in that part of the city and mice can be a problem across Nottingham. However, Jamie’s Italian has taken firm action to ensure that food hygiene is never compromised.”
An environmental health officer said ‘mouse activity’ had been evident but that restaurant staff ‘were doing everything they could’ to stop mice. We’re gathering by ‘mouse activity’ they mean that that’s not peppercorns on your pasta.
