Lions roarWell, if you wanted the British and Irish Lions to annihilate teams during this summer’s tour, then Saturday offered up a treat with the Lions subjecting Waratahs to a 17-47 defeat to maintain their unbeaten record. Leigh Halfpenny was the main threat from the Lions, with the fullback scoring two tries before converting FOUR penalties against the minnows. Jonny Sexton, Tom Croft and Jonathan Davies also got in on the act with tries either side of Halfpenny, but the Welshman had the last laugh in this game. Waratahs hit back with two tries from Tom Carter to try and hit back.

But a bruteless England without that big man Manu Tuilagi now have Halfpenny to look forward to when they take on Brumbies on Tuesday, and I’m sure the Aussies will be shitting their pants when they watch the BBC sport highlights over again.
