and fate as a hamburger and ‘gone dark’, hiding until night-time when she would come out to feed. Even the horns of randy bull Ernst and her best bovine friend Waltraud weren’t enough to lure her home.
But after becoming Germany’s most famous fugitive, she’s given herself up. There will be no slaughterhouse, however. The six-year-old dairy cow has been bought by the Gut Aiderbichl animal sanctuary and will be free to live a peaceful life with her family.
Poor Ernst however was fired and is believed to have entered the soft porn industry.
