A US airport security agent probably thought he’d get little more than a few giggles after leaving a cheeky note with the words “Get your freak on girl” next to a vibrator he found in some luggage.
Unfortunately for him, the female traveller in question was Jill Filipovic – an expert in feminism who had just flown back to New York from Dublin, where she had given a talk about feminism, sexual assault and abortion at Trinity College. Filipovic tweeted a picture of the note. Under the image, she added: “Just unpacked my suitcase and found this note from TSA (US Transportation Security Administration). Guess they discovered a ‘personal item’ in my bag. Wow.”
The employee in question is now facing disciplinary action and has been removed from luggage check.
If only Sid James were on the case. He’d probably make some quip about ‘not getting many of them for the pound’ and end up shagging her. Because that’s what all these feminists are really after, right girls!
