John Terry is injured, stripped of England captaincy and being hounded to quit international football as a result of the racism scandal to which he has not been accused innocent or guilty yet. If he wasn’t earning so much he would’ve got the rope and chair and ended it right? Well Don Capello from Italy has stepped in for the former England cheat, captain and racist (allegedly) and has accused the FA of making the wrong decision. Capello spoke on Italian TV and said that he was disappointed not to have been asked for his opinion and believed that he would’ve not stripped Terry of his captaincy, and that whilst he is still in charge of England he still regards him as England’s captain.
The FA responded to the Don’s threat by threatening Capello by saying he has breached his contract by talking foul of the FA. In what part of any Football manager’s contract does it say ‘must be a puppet to our cause’? Only Steve Kean has that clause and he is breaching that every week.
Capello could cause the wrath of fellow England international Rio Ferdinand, the brother of Anton who accused Terry of racially abusing him during their match in the Premiership. Someone get Joey Barton involved then it will be a true mafia standoff; Capello, Ferdinand and Barton. Knowing England’s luck in major tournaments I’d rather watch that match than England’s tournament.
