A cheeky fox managed to make his way onto a London tube on Monday evening. We wonder if he scanned his Oyster card before boarding?
The rogue animal stunned commuters when he strolled onto the tube at Edgware Road station.
Obviously ignoring all warnings to avoid public transport to the Olympics, he decided to go for a ride.
Stephen Ebert noticed the furry intruder and was quick to post a pic on Twitter.
“As the doors opened I boarded and immediately became aware of something down at my feet. At first, I was not sure what it was – and then I realised it was a fox,” he told the Metro.
“It looked young and was probably a cub. I quickly snapped it with my phone and posted it on Twitter.
“It is not every day you capture a picture of a fox catching a Tube. The train had come from east London so maybe it had been at the Olympics!
“It got off the train as I was getting on so maybe it lives around Edgware Road. The carriage was virtually empty at the time so it had had it all to itself.”
So they’ve taken over our rubbish bins and our transport too apparently.
