Australia’s comedy festival season is in full swing! Kicking off the proceedings at the end of March, Australia will see the world’s best comedy acts descend on its shores from now until May.
But it’s not just international acts who will be taking centre stage, some of the best home grown talent will also be ready to entertain the masses at venues across the country and New Zealand. During Australia’s Comedy Festival you can expect the likes of Lou Sanders, Mae Martin and Al Murray as well as locals Gen Frickler, Alex Williamson and many many more.
The shows in Melbourne run until 17th April before heading to Western Australia. Once the tour hits Perth, every local venue will be taken over from
22nd April to the 15th May with a plethora of comedy gigs.
The festival will then jump across Australia to Sydney from 18th April – 15th May. That’s six weeks of amazing shows with amazing people. From 22nd April – 15th May the tour will be hopping over to New Zealand and will be bringing down the house across several venues.
Other big names to grace the rosta include Ross Nobel, Daniel Sloss, Andrew Maxweel, David O’Doherty and Luisa Omielan.
With such a wealth of talent and with the show making it to so many different venues, The 2016 Australian comedy is impossible to miss.
