The Phoney War Rages On

It’s a question that baffled the ancient Geeks and confounded the pharaohs of old Egypt: which is better, Android or Apple?
Scholars and philosophers have grappled with this communication conundrum since the beginnings of civilisation, and it seems the debate still has the power to turn best friends into bitter rivals.
If you don’t believe us, just look at the case of Elias Acevedo, 21, and his roommate Jiaro Mendez.
Last month, the pair ended up stabbing each other during a drunken argument over which is the better smartphone.
At some point Acevedo struck Mendez in the back of the head with a beer bottle and the argument was settled, with both men ending up in hospital. Amazingly, the police report doesn’t say which type of phone Acevedo was backing. And so the great debate rages on.
