premier-league-fantasy-footballHere at BBM we were wondering: where the hell do we get our fantasy football updates from?

BBC are lagging and Sky Sports are too busy putting make-up on everyone for the live shows! So we thought that we were by far the best option to give all of you Fantasy Football enthusiasts a home to view which players have been performing to their best for you.

First up, we have the goalkeepers. Simon Mignolet was generally everyone’s favourite, but this week didn’t keep a clean sheet, along with not many saves, so his points tally went down. However, David Stockdale of Fulham or West Ham’s Jussi Jaaskelainen pulled off good performances to keep clean sheets with plenty of saves, so keep that in mind for next week.

As for defenders, it was a rare week of Leighton Baines scoring only one point but West Ham’s Winston Reid scored to give him some brownie points and Southampton CB pairing Jose Fonte and Lovren both keeping up their recent high scoring run of points.

And as you may have guessed, Yaya Toure is still the man to have in your team earning another seven points this week, while Aaron Ramsey and Stephane Sessegnon, who were recent trend setters, scored less this week. Couldn’t have got a goal, could you lads!

Daniel Sturridge carried on his brilliant goalscoring run to bring his points tally to 54 this season; with Sergio Aguero scoring and gaining an assist this week to bring his tally up and Romelu Lukaku continuing his fine run of form to give fantasy league players the headache of who to pick between the three…or just pick all three!

With the international break we won’t know who will be scoring next for a few weeks, but until then, buy the three top strikers it won’t hurt!
