Socks, the famous moonwalking Shetland pony, has found himself lumped in the middle of a rather ugly paternity battle.
It’s not unheard of for celebrities to go slightly off the rails in the wake of their fame, but for the Shetland pony who shot to fame after appearing in a mobile network advert, his latest move has got him in the papers for different reasons entirely.
Socks has apparently been wooing the ladies, putting his dance moves to good use and working his magic with a mare he was not supposed to be with. And, to make matters worse, Socks has potentially fathered Scamp after his rendevous with the mare who wishes to remain nameless. A DNA test has been arranged to discover the truth in this bizarre story.
Socks’ owner, Mari Williamson stated, “He most definitely has a real eye for the ladies. He doesn’t need any encouragement”.
