You don’t hear much about Bury St Edmunds. It’s no London or Berlin, but it’s a town of doo-gooders that could take on Peter Parker or Rambo! And there’s one 71 year old from the area who who gives the word brave an even braver sentiment!
Grandfather and former businessman Michael Graver was out shopping with his wife when five 20-34 year olds on stolen scooters attacked a jewellery store, but Graver stood up to the robbers and confronted two of the assailants before snatching a bag of stolen watches. He said that he attacked the boys because of the threat towards his wife; “I was really quite annoyed because these guys came on scooters and they nearly hit my wife.”
Aww, the typical English gentleman; nowadays we have to settle for the English curly haired boy with an old woman fetish (Yes Styles, I mean you!).
