A man in China has tied his scooter to his bicycle to avoid drink-driving laws.
The cyclist who had a little too many bevies at lunchtime realised that he couldn’t drive home and was left with little other option but to tie his motorised scooter to the back of a standard bicycle; makes perfect sense.
Clearly not happy at the thought of picking up his scooter in the morning or the possibility of losing his licence the unknown man hired a bicycle instead.
Securing the scooter with some rope, he rather calmly cycled off hauling his cargo with him at a precarious angle on his bicycle, which is not subject to China’s drink-drive laws.
This bizarre biker was snapped weaving home through the traffic in Changsha, Hunan province, southern China.
As reported in Metro, a passer-by said: “He looked pretty wobbly, but then he looked wobbly while he was just walking too.”
He probably broke some laws, dangerous driving and overloading to name a few, but you’ve got to give him points for ingenuity, right?
