After the final whistle was blown at the Deepdale stadium to call an end to the Fifth Round FA Cup tie between Preston North End FC and Manchester United, one incident was on the lips off every football fan.
With United already 2-1 up and minutes left of the game, Wayne Rooney went clear on goal and one on one with the home team’s keeper, Stuckmann. As striker and goalie drew closer to each other the Man Utd number 10 saw himself fall to the ground from the shot stopper’s out stretched legs.
