Transfer Deadline Day is upon us in Europe today. Clubs across England, Germany, France and EVEN Scotland (yes that league still exists) are looking to strengthen their lineups for the final run in for their respective titles and relegation battles. Deals that have gone through so far have been Kevin De Bruyne to Chelsea, Wayne Bridge having a medical at Sunderland and Ranger’s prolific scorer Nikola Jelavic is likely to join Everton later on today.
With over half a day to go until clubs can tie up deals, and many football matches playing live tonight, I’m sure that most clubs will have deals done by the time you are in bed tonight. But remember Mikel Arteta in the summer? Andy Carroll last January? And what about Rafael Van De Vaart’s move to Tottenham as well? You never know Wigan fans, Fernando Torres is linked with a free transfer to Wigan today, I could sense a coup coming along!
