Listen up boys if you want to hold on to your testicles!
A breed of fish with a particular liking for the body part may be heading its way to Britain after being found extremely close to the shores of Paris’s Seine River. The fish, named the Pacu, are said to have a fondness for men’s genitalia. According to the Metro this is because ‘testicles sit nicely in their mouth’.
If that isn’t horrifying enough, this ball-hungry fish has been measured at 1ft after Police in Paris captured the creature on camera and measured it. I’m sure they were all clutching their balls in fright as you guys reading this are right now! Apparently, it can grow as big as 35 inches and weigh up to 25kg.
According to the Metro ‘The pacu is not normally dangerous to people but it has quite a serious bite’. However there have been reports in Sweden of men bleeding to death as a result of a Pacu attack on their private area. Additionally, in other countries such as Papua New Guinea there have been incidents where men’s testicles have been bitten off completely.
So maybe next time you’re out swimming guys…for God’s sake wear protection!
