A teenager in Ohio got a taste of what life is like for a state senator recently at Mohawk High School.

The only problem is, it wasn’t one of those classroom activities were students get to pretend to be president, the school in question thought he really was a senator and made him to deliver a lecture to a classroom about his “civil service”. They even chauffeured around him around in a car provided by a local dealership.
 Just to add insult to injury, the school didn’t realise they’d been pranked until weeks later when the real senator turned up to deliver his talk.
 Izaha Akins, 18, faces felony charges for the December deception.
The teen used his own name but said he was appointed to take over for Senator David Burke, whom he said had resigned due to health issues.
It’s not quite Catch Me If You Can territory, but it’s still pretty funny.
