When Jason Roth, 36, and Amanda Eggert, 32, realised they were too drunk to drive home, they did the responsible thing and handed their car keys to someone sober.
Slightly less responsible was that the person they chose was their nine-year-old daughter, who then tried to drive the family home – with an 11-month-old baby in the backseat to boot.
A sheriff’s deputy responded to a call about an erratic driver and found the couple and their children parked at a boat drop. He arrested them when he realised they were pissed as farts and confessed they’d got their kid to sit behind the wheel.
Eggert also faces several charges stemming from a fight she had with paramedics who arrived to help her with a cut on her hand suffered when she was snowmobiling earlier in the day.
We’re just surprised she actually drove the snowmobile herself and didn’t get a small child to do it.
