Our lederhosen-loving, sausage-obsessed German cousins are debating a controversial way to keep the elderly happy – by giving old loners with boners the money to get laid.
German MP Elisabeth Scharfenberg, of the Green Party (of course), reckons prostitutes should be available on prescription for elderly and disabled people in care homes.
“Funding for sexual assistance is conceivable for me,” she said. “The municipality could advise on local offers and grant grants.”
Under the plan, residents would hire publicly funded call girls when they can prove a medical need and show they could not afford to pay for visit from a sex worker.
Or, to put it in English, they will get the chance to literally screw the system.
