Southampton have done it again this week and ruffled the feathers of the big boys. This time the Red Devils had their own pitchforks poked towards themselves as a Dusan Tadic 69th winner in the second half at Old Trafford condemned them to defeat.
It was a case of Saints vs Sinners but in the end, a God like defensive performance kept the Mancs at bay. The Saints for top four certainly on this result and a team to be taken seriously. They are now nicely sandwiched in between the Manchester clubs in third.
At last, are Liverpool finally starting to move up the table and allow Rodgers to be a jolly boy again. After a Lazor Markovic winner gave the red all three points at the Stadium of light and now leaves them only five points from the top four in eighth. In the meantime, Raheem Sterling will be chilling on a Jamaican beach and having a look at the waves. Still these waves couldn’t be as rocky as Liverpool Premier League campaign so far.
Don’t be an arse Arsene because with Alexis Sanchez and a hot fiery Chilean on form you have nothing to worry about. As he inspired the Gunners once again in contributing two goals in a 3-0 win over Stoke at the Emirates. A win that leaves them a point behind the fiery Red Devils in fifth. Alexis now takes his goals tally for the season to 18.
Lastly, Chelsea continue to occupy the top spot as a mad Brazillian and a silky Belgian kept the blues two points clear of Man City at the top. It didn’t come at any Costa as he scored the second after Eden Hazard had grabbed the first in a 2-0 win over Newcastle.
