Last weekend, Star-Trek and X-Men actor Sir Patrick Stewart made an announcement that he had tied the knot with 35 year old singer and songwriter Sunny Ozell. They have been a couple for five years now after meeting back in 2008 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
He made this information public in quite a strange fashion. He posted a tweet along with a photograph of himself and his new wife with their heads poking out of a children’s ball pit with massive grins on their faces, captioning the photo with “Yes, married”. Adorable!
The wedding was quite a nerdy affair, which was officiated by Harry Potter star Sir Ian McKellen who also posted a photo via a social networking site, this time on Facebook. He is holding up a t-shirt that reads “Minister”. The actor who played beloved Gandalf in the film series comically commented underneath the image, “I did my part”.
You sure did Gandalf, you sure did.
