We despair with the oddities of mainland Europe sometimes! Dutch artist, Bart Jansen had his pet tabby Orville stuffed and then turned him into a toy helicopter. In order to do so Jansen teamed up with radio controlled helicopter expert Arjen Beltman to attach propellers to each of Orville’s four paws.
The Sun reports; Named the Orvillecopter, the piece is on show at the Kunstrai art festival in Amsterdam.
Jansen said his creation is “half cat, half machine”, and part of a visual art project to pay tribute to his pet.
We can’t help but feel Jansen may well have been waiting for poor Orville to die so he could make his whacky piece of “art”. Bloody weirdo, we hate to think what he’d do to his Granny.
Introducing the Grannovision, it’s half old lady, half viewing station, with a screen inserted in her baggy old lady love hole. Oh whoops and we had the cheek to call Jansen sick.
