Two whinging Poms have been banned from ordering off the menu at their local pub because staff are sick of them complaining about how shit the food is.
Frankly, we’re not quite sure who the winner is in that situation.
Fussy foodies Chris Stanley, 51, and Jason Ponder, 35, are still allowed to drink at The Interceptor in West Bromwich but they can’t eat the swill on offer.
Things came to a head when Chris wrote a letter to the manager, praising the staff but criticising the pub’s chefs.
He said: “The manager came over and said ‘I’ve had enough of this, you’re always complaining, the pair of you’. Then he told us that we would be welcome in the bar for drinks, but that we were barred from the restaurant.”
And apparently the only reason they eat at the pub is because Chris can’t cook. So he’s bitten the hand that literally feeds him. Prat.
