AT the time of going to press, Aston Villa are unbeaten in the league in 2010, have games in hand on their nearest rivals fighting for a top four spot and have made it to the Carling Cup final and the FA Cup semis.
Well we can’t have someone upsetting the big four now can we, so Premier League bosses have come up with a great schedule of 16 games in 66 days – that’s one every four days for two months.
Naturally, mad-eyes Martin O’Neill is a tad miffed.
“One every four days. That’s as many as any side has been playing,” he harrumphed.
“We’re cramming in these league games now – yet there’s a number of free midweeks in April and that seems a bit crazy to me.”
