The small town in Berkshire has been named as the best place in the UK to raise a family. The hometown of pop sensation (before Bieber 13 year olds) Will Young and excellent school results is first ahead of Woodley, also in Berkshire and Chulmleigh, Devon.
Kate Moore, who commissioned the survey, had this to say; “Everybody has different ideas about what makes a great location to start a family and bring up a child and we have tried to be as comprehensive as possible in gathering information on the factors parents have told us are most important. ”
Oh Kate, you are the Kevin McCloud of Wokingham and have sold all of our young families on your town. Unfortunately, some people just want to get drunk a lot so a small town wouldn’t suit a bunch of boozers nowadays!
