Getting Tanked Up

 
A bloke from rural Lancashire took “Pimp My Ride” to Syria-esque levels after driving up to his local pub in a tank.
Families enjoying a Sunday dinner at the Tollemache Arms in Buckminster soiled themselves when the 1950s Vickers Abbot tank pulled in outside the pub and a man clambered out. We don’t condone drunk driving but good luck to the copper who tries to pull that guy over. “All the traffic stopped outside the pub when this blooming great tank suddenly arrived – everyone was absolutely gobsmacked,” said landlord Steve Turner, 60.
“With us being a family pub there were lots of children around on Sunday and a lot of them went outside to have a look and have their picture taken next to the tank.”
