I’m sure that one of the first rules of bank robbery is to always steal enough to get away from that area and never come back. Ocean’s Eleven, The Bank Job, The Parole Officer (Ok that was for a video tape) but all these films have a smartly conducted plan to get in and get out with what you aimed for at the start of the plan. But for some robbers in Dusseldorf, a piggy bank in a burger bar is good enough.
A robbery in a burger Bar in Dusseldorf ended with the robbers not taking the whole store’s income, or not even enough to buy you a burger; they stole 15p worth of money which was in a piggy bank. To also make them feel better, they stole two chocolate bars as well which were 97p each (1.20 Euros for translation!). Now this may just seem like two kids pulling off a dumb heist with masks on, but they had HANDGUNS as well. Now come on, you have a whole shop to steal from and all you can do is get fat on two chocolate bars and a piggy bank? Maybe they can start saving for their next job.
So Frank Sinatra and George Clooney wouldn’t be happy with this heist, but at least they won’t starve to death with their favourite chocolate bars.
