blatter460276IT’S official! The FIFA World Cup 2010 was England’s worst ever performance.

Fabio’s flops were officially ranked 13th of the 32 teams competing – beating their previously lowest showing of 11th in Sweden 1958. Obviously, we didn’t qualify in 1974, 1978 and 1994 but frankly, we wish we hadn’t qualfied for this one either.

For once, anglo-hater Sepp Blatter (pictured) was spot on the money with his criticism of our crap national team.
“England is considered the motherland of football, like Brazil is considered as the deepest level of football,” he said.

“But ever since FIFA has existed everybody has developed. There are no more small national teams.
“Football has developed everywhere. Players play in different leagues.

“The internationalism of football is good for some and not for others. One example of that is England.”

Which is a long-winded way of saying there are too many foreigners in the Premier League.
