Jez in peep show famously has a ‘sex mix’ cd for when the time comes but what happens when tortoises aren’t really in the mood anymore? Well the Galapagos tortoises at London Zoo certainly aren’t, so when famous composer Richard Clayderman was asked to perform live to see if his music could stir the endangered species into action he jumped at the chance.
The giant tortoises looked intrigued with Clayderman performing romantic pieces from West Side Story and Romeo & Juliet. Only time will tell if 70-year-old Dirk and his three female companions will start making sweet love to the sound of music once more. Rumours are of London Zoo upping the ante with R Kelly next in line to perform.
