Taking “how do you eat yours” and cracking it fully upside down on its head, a butcher from Southport has cooked something of an Easter treat in the way of a Scotch Crème Egg.
While there have been many recipes flitting about on the Internet of such a thing, it seems 53-year-old Graham Eyes is the only one crazy enough to make it with actual sausage meat coated in breadcrumbs.
Trying to flog the balls of meat and chocolate, he described them as “really tasty” and explained that he likes to do “something a bit funky to get people talking.”
Job done, Mr Eyes.
