For a sports fan, there’s only one thing worse than watching your team throw away a good lead – and that’s being made to wear one.
Alas, that’s what happened to a Cruz Azul supporter, who must have been pretty confident his side would go on to win their game against Club America after racing to 3-0 lead by half-time last month. In fact he was so confident, he had no qualms making a bet with a rival fan during the break that he would walk through the streets of Mexico City on a dog lead if his side lost the match.
Club America went on to score four goals and win the game 4-3. Oh dear.
True to his word, the fan was paraded through town on all fours like a dog by the jubilant victor of the bet.
And just to add the cherry, the whole thing was filmed and went viral. Not the greatest day in that guy’s life.
