A Big Fine For A Low Bow
A couple of backpackers in Thailand were ordered by police to get down on their knees and pray for, well, getting down on their knees to do other stuff in an alley in front of irate locals last month.
The Irish man and American woman were caught with their pants down on the Thai island of Phi Phi as angry local shopkeepers filmed them on their phones and confronted the drunken pair.
The clip, which went viral, shows the girl on her knees in front of the man.
A local then angrily shouts: “What are you doing here, why you f***ing outside here?”
A member of the Krabi tourist police today said: “The two said they were drunk at the time of the incident, and that after they were confronted by locals they stopped. The man later left for Koh Tao, while the woman returned to Chiang Mai”
The two were slapped with 2,000 baht (AU$90) fine each – which is still cheaper than getting a blowjob in Kings Cross. Love that exchange rate.
